There’s something special about shooting a wedding in the winter. The cool, crisp air was refreshing and we could just feel the holiday spirit surrounding Crystal and Brian. Their wedding DJ informed us that Crystal is a Christmas fanatic, so it was appropriate that they had a Christmas themed wedding complete with a huge Christmas tree in the lobby, a cake that looked like a pile of presents, and snow. Yes, snow. It was 45 degrees outside on their wedding day, but you’ll see what we mean when you scroll down.
Crystal and Brian’s ceremony and reception took place at the Highlawn Pavilion located at the Eagle Rock Preservation in West Orange, NJ. We even got a little shout out during the ceremony from their officiant, Reverend John Graf, who was supposed to marry us back in 2008. Unfortunately, he had to undergo an emergency medical procedure a couple days before our wedding day, but we were so happy to be reunited with him. He did a beautiful job with Crystal and Brian’s ceremony.
