Next up, we had a photo shoot with Shane and Skylar’s new cousin, 7-week old Miles. Photo shoots with babies are extra special to us now that we have a little boy of our own. The first year just happens so quickly and we realize now more than ever that it’s so important to take lots of photos (professional or not). Miles was such a good baby, and seriously a natural in front of the camera with his big captivating eyes. For newborn shoots, we typically come prepared with all of our studio lights and backdrops. This shoot was no exception, but we found the best moments happened when we turned off the bright lights. We decided to present this entire blog in black & white, which is something we haven’t done before, but we thought the depth and simplicity of this shoot was just perfect for a black & white presentation.
