One of the things we learned while shooting Nicole and Olivier’s wedding is that persistence pays off, in a big way. Nicole and Olivier used to work for the same company, and Olivier immediately took notice of Nicole. So, he started asking her out on dates and calling her extension at work until she eventually agreed. As they got to know each other better, they realized that they shared a lot of the same goals, values, and impeccable style 🙂
We’ve photographed several public weddings this year and they’ve all been electric. Nicole and Olivier got married on the beach at Asbury Park, a beach they’ve enjoyed for the past several years. As we walked on the boardwalk before the ceremony, countless people smiled and congratulated the couple. A group of complete strangers who called themselves “The Beach Crew” even put together a special gift for Nicole and Olivier, which was handed to them at the end of the ceremony. The outpouring of love from family, friends, and onlookers was beautiful to witness. The ceremony was followed by a reception at Tim McLoone’s Supper Club. The food was fantastic and the music from Jeff Scott Gould of Sound Connection Entertainment kept everyone dancing all night long.
