“When Chris brought Kristen home for the very first time, the first thought that ran through my mind was, ‘Wow Chris, she has got to be the shyest, sweetest, most adorable girl you have ever dated. Definitely keep her around for while.’ As I got to know Kristen and her family, the more I realized my thought would become a reality.”
– Matt, Best Man and brother of the groom
It was during Matt’s toast that we realized how Chris and Kristen’s relationship has grown and evolved into what it is today. During our initial meeting, we always ask the couple how they met and it’s always fun hearing the different stories. Kristen and Chris first met at a Halloween costume party. Chris was dressed as party boy from the Jackass movies, and apparently Kristen was so smitten with Chris that she can’t even remember what her costume was 🙂
It is completely evident that Kristen and Chris have a relationship that fits together like pieces of a puzzle. Chris is naturally a little more outgoing while Kristen is a little more shy and observant at first, but the two of them complete each other. Their wedding day was a mixture of their personalities. The Farrington Manor, overlooking the lake, created the perfect ceremony setting with the sun beaming through the trees; it was obviously something that Kristen and Chris thought long and hard about. Kristen hand crafted many of the details including all of the bouquets and boutonnieres, and Chris added his own personal touch by finishing off his customized Nissan Altima with the perfect final detail – a “Just Married” vinyl sticker on the back window.
Congratulations Kristen and Chris. Enjoy your 2 weeks in Disney World. Say hello to Minnie and Mickey for us!
