A fun fact about Anne is that she comes from a huge family. Her dad is one of 7 siblings, so on her dad’s side, Anne has 12 aunts & uncles, is one of 14 cousins & 5 cousin-in-laws, and 4 little ones. Anne’s mom’s side… well, they are even bigger. So big, that we don’t even know what the exact count is. Because we work most weekends, we unfortunately have to miss out on some family get-togethers, so the time we get to spend with our families is always a treat for us.
On Sunday, we headed into New York City to meet up with a few of the family members mentioned above, including 2-year old Lucas and the newest member of our growing family, 8-week old Sophia. If you were in the NJ/NYC area at all on Sunday, you know that the entire day was a total washout with the rain boots and umbrellas in full effect. However, that didn’t stop us from having a great time with our cousins and the kids. Luckily, there was a very short period of light rain where we were able to walk to Lincoln Center for a few shots.
After taking some photos of the kids, our cousins treated us to Sprinkles Cupcakes! YUM!
