With back-to-back engagement sessions this weekend, I think we are going to change Labor Day weekend to “Engagement Session weekend”. For the first engagement session, we met Angie and Corey at the New York Renaissance Festival in Tuxedo, NY. Angie and Corey have been attending this fair since they were kids. After they met, they made it an annual tradition to go to the festival together. For those of you that have never been to a renaissance festival, it is a celebration of the sights, sounds and smells of the Renaissance era. There are characters dressed as knights, jesters, fair maidens, and even a king and queen. We wandered around the festival with Corey and Angie, marveling at the great costumes, the different shops selling renaissance themed goods, and all of the different shows and performances. Toward the end of the day, we even enjoyed some giant medieval turkey legs and mead. It was great fun, and we look forward to shooting their wedding on 11/20/2011.
