Brian has a skill that few people have. He’s a pilot. When I met with Dana and Brian for their initial consultation meeting, I found that it was that skill that played a huge role in their relationship, their engagement and their future as Brian starts his career as an air force pilot. Brian had planned to write out,”Dana, will you marry me?” on tarps and then fly over them with Dana. Unfortunately, Dana happened to see cell phone pics of the tarps in progress before Brian could pull off the big surprise. Brian is the type of guy that doesn’t give up though, and he ultimately still managed to surprise Dana while up in the air. It was that plane that served as the first location for their engagement shoot this week. It was so cool to see the plane where it had taken place and hear them recount the story again. From there we moved to Natirar Park in Peapack and I was introduced to the third member of their family (and ring bearer), Oscar the dog. We had a fun time exploring the beautiful park as Oscar was chasing squirrels. I also had the pleasure of meeting Dana’s sister/maid-of-honor. and learning how Dana had put her through a series of tests to determine her worthiness as Maid of Honor 🙂 It was a great way to spend an afternoon and we’re looking forward to their wedding next spring.
