We have known Ashley since 2007, when she was a bridesmaid in our friends’ wedding, which also happened to be the very first wedding we had ever photographed. Since then, we’ve gotten to know her family quite well. They are a very tight knit group and it’s obvious that family always comes first. As Ashley was waiting to head to the church, she was chatting with one of her bridesmaids about her relationship with Ryan. She said that he immediately fit right in with her family, and their relationship was just plain easy. Seeing him seamlessly interact with the members of her family was how she knew he was “the one”.
Ashley and Ryan got married in Our Lady of the Mount church in Warren, NJ; the same church where Ashley’s parents were married. From there, we headed to the Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge and that’s where the party really kicked into high gear, ending with the best cake smash we had ever seen!
