One of the best parts of being a wedding photographer is that week in and week out, we are reminded of the most important things in life; family, friends, happiness and love. Lindsey and Bob had big, giant, heaping spoonfuls of all of these things on their wedding day. From the moment we stepped into the room where Lindsey was getting ready, we knew it was going to be a fun day. Her bridesmaids were so happy for her and wanted to make sure she looked absolutely amazing for the first time she saw Bob.
At one point, Lindsey opened the door to Bob’s adjoining room and tempted him to peek in as she was hiding behind the door. It was so much fun and really gave a glimpse into the playfulness of their relationship. That playfulness manifested itself again while we were doing portraits, as Lindsey commandeered a golf club, ball and tee from some poor guy that was just trying to finish his round at the Ballyowen Golf Club at Crystal Springs Golf Resort. She pushed Bob down to the ground, and told him to hold the tee in his mouth because she was going to tee off!
During the reception, we were treated to particularly heart-warming words from Lindsey’s dad as he gave a speech thanking Bob for loving his daughter so much. It brought tears to the eyes of many in the room. It didn’t take long, though, for those tears to dry up and the party to get started… and once the dance floor got filled, it remained that way for the rest of the night.
Congratulations Lindsey and Bob! Keep having fun!
A special thank you to Tom Janz for helping us out with this wedding.
