Yesterday, we photographed Liza and Rich’s wedding at St. Ambrose church in Old Bridge, NJ. Liza and Rich first met while attending college at The College of New Jersey. It was a meeting that almost didn’t happen. Both Liza and Rich were invited to a party at a friend’s house and Liza wasn’t going to go. At the last minute, something made her change her mind, and it was something that forever changed both of their lives.
If you spend more than 2 minutes with Liza and Rich, it becomes completely obvious that they were meant for each other. Their love is effortless. They laugh together, smile together, and yesterday, they simply could not stop kissing each other. Well, that’s not entirely true; they did stop long enough to say their vows. And when it came time for their vows, it wasn’t a question of “do I?” It was an emphatic “I DO!”
After the ceremony, we headed to Turkey Swamp Park in Freehold, NJ for portraits of Liza, Rich and their bridal party. The park was popping with amazing Fall color under perfect golden hour light. We literally could have spent hours taking photos there, but cocktail hour was set to start at South Gate Manor and no one wanted to miss it. Liza and Rich’s friends and family came to celebrate, and celebrate they did. The dance floor was packed all night and the guys from SCEvents kept the crowd live and the party rockin’.
Congratulations Liza and Rich! Enjoy your honeymoon in Hawaii!
Thanks again to Tom Janz for helping us out with this wedding.
