This weekend, we met up with Amelia and John for their engagement session at the Snug Harbor Botanical Garden in Staten Island, New York. We had never heard of the gardens before and certainly had never been there, and boy have we been missing out. The grounds were amazing. The gardens range from Tuscan to Japanese, and formal to informal, all set amidst an amazing amount of 19th century architecture.
We had such a great time exploring it all with Amelia and John while learning more about them, and how their relationship started. They had known of each other for quite some time, growing up in the same town and being in the same grade, but had never formally met until mutual friends made their paths cross and fate just lined up. We’re looking forward to their wedding at Clark’s Landing in just a few short months!
