When we meet with couples to discuss their wedding plans, we always like to hear about how they first met. What strikes us the most is how so many couples have just a few degrees of separation, then suddenly through some act of fate or luck, their paths cross at just the right time. For Elizabeth and JJ, this was just the case. They attended Villanova University during the same period of time and could have met on any number of occasions, with as few as 2 degrees of separation in a number of different friendships. Eventually, they both attended a happy hour party at Fox & Hound when fate stepped in. They realized that they shared a mutual love of running, board games, craft beers and cooking.
Six years later, we joined them at Our Lady of Mt. Virgin church in Middlesex, NJ for their wedding. After the ceremony, we headed over to Rutgers University for photos on Douglass Campus. It was a great day, filled with laughter and happiness, and as the music started and they partied the night away surrounded by their friends and families we realized just how perfect these two were for each other.
