As wedding photographers, there is no higher compliment than to be hired to shoot the wedding of two wedding photographers. That is exactly what we did this past weekend when we traveled down to Johnson City, Tennessee to shoot Kayla and Andy’s wedding day. We have to admit that the pressure was on. Not only do we admire Kayla and Andy’s beautiful work as wedding photographers but we also admire them for being a solid couple, good friends, and fellow industry professionals. We had nothing to worry about though, because they made us feel nothing but comfortable throughout the day and we felt right at home with their family & friends.
Back in March of 2011, Rich had the pleasure of shooting Andy’s surprise proposal to Kayla. Fast forward a year and a half and that brought us to this amazing day. Kayla and Andy got married at the Corey Ippolito Winery in Blountville, TN with a beautiful outdoor ceremony under an old oak tree. It may have rained on the dance floor later that evening, but that didn’t stop their guests from partying the night away.
Congratulations Andy and Kayla! Enjoy your honeymoon cruise!
One of the great parts of the day was when we handed the camera to Andy for a few minutes to let him shoot his bride. It was great to see the interaction between the two of them as they worked both sides of the camera on such an important day.
