Listening to the friends and families of our couples talk about the couple is one of our favorite parts of the wedding day. It really gives us a perspective on the couple and their relationship that we just wouldn’t get to learn about any other way. It’s apparent to us that Kristen and Dan’s relationship was meant to be as Dan’s brother and best man, Chris, explained during his toast… First, Kristen and Dan had to be on the same planet, but that wasn’t too hard. Then they had to be in the same country, then the same same state, then the same town and then finally, some act of fate put Dan’s best friend right next door to Kristen’s childhood home.
Kristen and Dan’s day was full of personal details, from the beautiful bouquet featuring brooches and pins from various relatives in Kristen’s family, to Dan’s fellow Jersey City firefighters who brought a fire engine down to the beautiful St. Aeden’s church to cheer their fellow fireman. After the church, we made our way to Lambert’s Castle for bridal party photos before heading to The Brownstone for the reception. DJ Eric Rivera kept the party jamming all night and Kristen and Dan’s friends did not disappoint on the dance floor. We even got a little flashback to Kristen’s best friend & maid of honor Liz’s wedding with a Backstreet Boys performance.
Congratulations Kristen and Dan! Enjoy your honeymoon in Maui.
