We are honored every time a couple asks us to be part of their wedding day, but it’s a different feeling altogether when they tell us that they can’t imagine their day happening without us and they’re willing to fly us half way around the world to make sure that happens. We are so grateful to Faye and Luigi for asking us to capture their wedding festivities at the beautiful Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea. It was our first time in Hawaii, and we wanted to make sure that we got to really experience what the island of Maui had to offer. Because of this, we made sure to arrive a few days before their wedding day. This also gave us a chance to meet with Faye and Luigi to go over the wedding plans and scope out the venue. We decided to make the best of the opportunity by doing a mini engagement session and explore the grounds of the resort.
The following day, we got a sneak preview of what the wedding celebration was going to be like by photographing a luau that Faye and Luigi invited all of their guests to join them for. It was an amazing evening, sharing laughter, smiles and delicious Hawaiian cuisine with friends and family. The entertainers from the Te Au Moana Luau entertained us all night long, with song, dance a little dose of the island history. It may have rained during the luau, but all of the guests were treated to a beautiful rainbow afterwards. Stay tuned for Faye and Luigi’s wedding photos to follow!
