You may remember Matt and Carolyn from their engagement session at Sandy Hook and Sea Bright, NJ. On Friday, we joined them at the Jersey shore again for their wedding; this time at The Stateroom in Long Beach Island.
It it clear that Matt and Carolyn value their relationships with their friends and families more than anything. Their bridal party was made up of sisters, brothers, best friends and wrestling teammates, and their officiant was one of Matt’s long-time close friends. The phrase “hug it out” became the impromptu hashtag of the day, and time and time again, we heard from everyone that we talked to that Matt and Carolyn were two of the most fun, genuine and caring people that we’d ever meet.
Matt and Carolyn chose to get married at The Stateroom because they both share a love for the beach. The theme was seen throughout the day, with tons of nautical and beach inspired decor, from Sperry Top-Siders for Carolyn and her bridemaids, to Ron Jon shades for Matt and his groomsmen. Carolyn and Matt even tied a symbolic sailor’s knot during the ceremony called the Lover’s Knot. The knot, like any great relationship only gets stronger as stress and pressure are applied.
Congratulations Carolyn and Matt! Enjoy your honeymoon in Costa Rica!
