You may remember Kelly & Dave from their engagement session in Hoboken, NJ back in March. During the engagement session we learned that Kelly and Dave had met while attending the birthday party of a mutual friend. Yesterday, we learned more about the story. Kelly knew that Dave was coming to the party, and she was on a mission to get to know him better. Dave and Kelly hit it off that night, and Kelly spent the rest of the night talking Lauren’s ear off about Dave and predicting that she would marry him someday…
Their wedding ceremony and reception took place at the Palace at Somerset Park in Somerset, NJ. It was an amazing day with thoughtful words from those people most important to Kelly and Dave. Dave’s older brother, Chris, is a pastor and he was the officiant for the ceremony and he gave a very touching sermon. Dave chose two best men, his oldest brother Mike, and his best friend, Tommy. Both of them gave funny, yet heartwarming toasts that had the crowd laughing on numerous occasions. Kelly chose her best friend Lauren to be her Matron of Honor and Lauren told us all the story of how Kelly and Dave met and how the relationship progressed in its earliest stages. At the end of the night it was clear that these two families had become one quite some time ago and that the wedding day finally made it official.
