Growing up, Sarah and Rick’s families both attended church at St. Matthew the Apostle in Edison, NJ and Sarah and Rick’s relationship formed when Rick convinced Sarah to join the St. Matthew’s youth group. They didn’t talk much at the meetings, but after a few unofficial dates, the two of them fell in love. Needless to say, it was an extra special day as Sarah and Rick were married at St. Matthew church this past weekend.
Sarah and Rick had been dating for 6 years before getting engaged at the Top of the Rock in New York City, and throughout those years they have made a lot of friends and memories together. They celebrated their wedding day with their families as well as groups of friends from high school, both of their colleges, 4H, and more.
When the wedding ceremony concluded, we headed to Mayfair Farms in West Orange, NJ for the reception. The family and friends that filled the church really got down on the dance floor and ended up being one of the most enthusiastic group of dancers we’ve ever had the pleasure of photographing.
