Sometimes people come into your life at just the right moment in time and that’s exactly what happened with Amanda and Joe. As co-workers, they were aware of each other, but since they worked on different shifts they didn’t interact much. It was a passing comment from Amanda that she’d like to go for a ride in Joe’s Mustang that would change their fates. It was on that ride in the Mustang that Amanda learned that Joe had recently broken up with his girlfriend, and as the days went by, their friendship and relationship grew.
This past weekend, we joined Amanda and Joe at the Stroudsmoor Country Inn for their beautiful outdoor ceremony at the Woodgate Chapel. It was an beautiful ceremony performed by Amanda’s Aunt Barb under the leaves of late summer. Amanda and Joe incorporated a number of details that we’ve never seen before, including a unity painting that they made during the ceremony that they’ll hang on their wall. Joe no longer has that Mustang from their first date, but now, they own a Dodge Challenge Hemi R/T that they’re both pretty proud of, and thought it would be cool to have it there for their wedding day. We thought it was pretty cool, too.
