It is often said that it is good luck to have rain on your wedding day. We’re not quite sure where the superstition originated, but some research online seems to suggest that it comes from some cultures viewing rain on a wedding day as a sign of cleansing, while others view rain as a sign of fertility and starting life anew. If that’s the case, then Cristina and AJ’s wedding day was overflowing with good luck!
You may remember Cristina and AJ from their engagement session last year at Duke Farms. Last weekend, we joined them for their wedding at the beautiful Rock Island Lake Club in Sparta, NJ. It was raining pretty hard for most of the afternoon, but that didn’t put a damper on the celebration. The ceremony took place inside and was presided over by their good friend Dean. He had everyone laughing at multiple points during the ceremony, and the laughter and celebration continued throughout the reception.
The guys from Lifetime Entertainment were spinning the tunes all evening long and had the dance floor rocking, pulling out a ton of classic 90’s house music at AJ’s request.
Congratulations Cristina & AJ!
