As photographers, the end of the year always brings about mixed emotions for us. We think back on all of the great places we’ve been and the amazing couples and families we’ve worked with. We’re excited to see what the new year will bring, and we’re so thankful to the couples and families who have invited us to be part of such a special day in their lives. This past Saturday, we photographed Kim & Joe’s wedding and they sent us off to 2015 with a bang.
Kim and Joe first met online, and their relationship quickly progressed as they learned that they had a lot of interests and friends in common. Among other things, they both had a mutual love of food, cooking, and tennis. Kim openly admits that Joe can grill a mean steak, but when their competitive juices get flowing on the tennis court, she lets him win.
Kim and Joe got married in St. Francis Church in Hoboken, NJ. (Fun fact: Frank Sinatra was baptized there!) After the ceremony was over, we headed to Columbus Park for photographs followed by The Liberty House in Jersey City, NJ for their reception. The Liberty House never disappoints, coming through with amazing food and and an incredible view of the New York City skyline. It was a great day and a great way to finish out a year of photographing the best couples in the world.
Congratulations Kim and Joe! Have fun on your honeymoon, cruising the Caribbean!
