We first met Lynne five years ago, when we photographed her sister Laura’s wedding to David in New Brunswick. This past weekend, we joined Lynne and John for their wedding at St. Marks Episcopal Church and reception at the Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge, NJ and the fact that we get to be part of the most important days in their families lives is something we cherish and truly enjoy.
When we first sat down and met with Lynne and John, we knew that their wedding day was going to be a lot of fun. They had some broad ideas about how they wanted the day to unfold, of course, but their number one priority was to enjoy the moment. They didn’t want the photos we captured to be too serious, moody, or posed; they simply wanted us to capture the joy that filled their relationship. Sometimes that task can be harder than one might think because of the level of anxiety and planning involved on a wedding day. That wasn’t the case, though, when we got Lynne and John in front of our cameras. The fun, laughter and smiles came so easily.
The Olde Mill Inn is a venue that we’ve photographed several times and they always do a great job. Ian Ali and Benny from Lifetime Entertainment kept the dance floor packed all night.
