Our photo session with Joy, Stephen, Joshua, Elisha, and their dog Layla took place at the Hunterdon County Arboretum on the first official day of summer, and what a perfect first day of summer it was. If Joy and Stephen look familiar to you, it’s because we shot their wedding back in 2011 and more recently, Stephen’s brother’s wedding in 2013. We’ve known their families for a long time; in fact, the first time we photographed Joy was when her parents contacted us for a family shoot WAY back in 2005 when we were just starting out as photographers. We’ve watched their families grow over the years, and this weekend we had the opportunity to spend some time with just the five of them. 5-year old Joshua is such a great big brother to Elisha, who just turned 1 and we had a blast watching them interact.
